Boys and Girls ages 9 to 13 years-old think they’re ready to stay home alone and parents wonder if it’s okay to let them. This DVD training helps your child become independent while giving you peace of mind. Topics include: basic safety guidelines, fire safety, simple first aid, navigating the online world, recognizing abuse and abduction, and aggressive dog safety. Class fee includes 3 hours of instruction, hands-on activities and a workbook. Girl Scout Juniors and Cadettes receive a fun patch. We’ll provide a snack too so please make us aware of any food allergies your child has. Class fee: $35
Safe Kids 101 is a prerequisite for Babysitting 101 which will be offered in the spring.
